2006Christmas - Set

Hallo, everyone, How are you? We are having a very hectic time here in Christmasland. Me and all the other Santa’s little assistants are writing letters and packing presents. I must admit that we postponed all these chores until the last minute because we went sleigh riding. It’s such fun to dash down a hill with the tuft of the cap playing in the wind. Santa’s wife already scolded us that we should work first and have fun later. Of course, she has so many things to do herself. She’s just taken gingerbreads from the oven and is now preparing black pudding, a large heap of it. The sweet smell of the gingerbreads fills the rooms. Santa himself is sitting in a big deep armchair, mounted on skis and waiting when we are finally ready with all the preparations. He’s not angry at all because of the delay, but smiles while munching a warm sweet gingerbread. It’s Christmastime after all! New snow glitters in the light of the street lamps and smoke is rising from chimneys all around. It’s a scene of expectations and mystery. Do look out of the window every now and you will soon see Santa sliding down snowy slopes. All best wishes to you, and may Christmas find you happy and bright.
