The world’s laziest and hungriest cat stars in a new hilarious feature film. In Switzerland, the film will be screened in Swiss German.

No major US production has been dubbed into Swiss German for over 20 years. The last films were “Stuart Little” (2000) and “Stuart Little 2” (2002).

The world’s most famous cat is coming to the big screen in spring 2024, and he’ll be speaking Swiss German. The beginning of the film goes back in time to introduce us to Garfield as a cute baby who was adopted by Jon. His voice is dubbed by Schaffhausen cabaret artist Gabriel Vetter, who has recently become a regu- lar presenter on “Sendung des Monats”, SRF’s new evening show. One of Switzerland’s best-known satirists and actors, Mike Müller, lends his distinctivevoice to the scruffy street cat Vic, Garfield’s long-lost father.
