Correos continues its collection of philatelic documents "Mi Tierra" in order to further disseminate the values and culture of the various Spanish autonomous regions.
The stamps issued over time serve as the best ambassadors of our homeland. Within these small pieces of paper, all of our traditions, history, heritage, art, and architecture are encapsulated, which we aim to pass down from generation to generation as an essential reminder of our roots.
This collection, which began in 2015, already comprises 12 editions: Asturias, Galicia, Aragon, Extremadura, Cantabria, Basque Country, Madrid, Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, Valencia Region, Balearic Islands, and Catalonia. Soon, it will be expanded to include Castilla y León and La Rioja.
The "Mi Tierra La Rioja" and "Mi Tierra Castilla y León" products will feature stamps representing gastronomy, natural parks, monuments, architecture, and notable figures from both regions.
These collections are intended to introduce philately to individuals who are not collectors, combining two significant concepts: the uniqueness and appeal of each of Spain's autonomous communities with the insight and knowledge reflected in our stamps.
This product is slated for release in April of this year, with a limited run of 800 units priced at €25 including VAT, available exclusively through the Philatelic Service.
