Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev (1823–1924) was a pioneering Azerbaijani philanthropist and industrialist whose impact on the economic and cultural landscape of Azerbaijan during the late 19th and early 20th centuries was profound. Born in Baku, Taghiyev started as a humble trader before venturing into the burgeoning oil industry. His vision and business acumen propelled him to become one of the wealthiest figures of his era.
