In 1989, car company Max Motors from Helmond introduced a genuine Dutch-made fun car. With its modular design and lightweight plastic components, the Max Roadster was way ahead of its time. But the hoped-for success did not materialize. Only seventeen copies of the pleasure car were sold.

The Max Roadster has been immortalized by designer Frank Janse on a beautiful silver stamp, packaged in a luxurious passe-partout cover.
