2023Prominent Armenians, 100th Anniversary of Khachatur Iskandaryan - Postcard

On July 17th, 2023, one-sided postcard with 1 stamp dedicated to the theme “Prominent Armenians. 100thAnniversary of Khachatur Iskandaryan” has been put into circulation.

The postage stamp of the postcard depicts the prominent Armenian sculptor, People's Artist of the Armenian SSR Khachatur Iskandaryan (1923-2015) against the background of his studio.

The bottom left corner of the postcard depicts one of Khachatur Iskandaryan’s works “Discussion” (1983). The postcard also depicts the inscriptions “Armenian sculptor”, “100TH ANNIVERSARY” and “KHACHATUR ISKANDARYAN” written in Armenian and English languages.
