2021National Parks - First Day Cover

70 years since the first National Parks opened in the UK. (Please note this is plural because 4 parks opened in 1971). April 2021 sees the 70th anniversary of the first National Parks being established –Peak District. Today there are 15 national parks covering 10% of England, Scotland and Wales. They contain some of our most memorable landscapes, thousands of ancient monuments and almost 1/3 of our internationally important wildlife sites. We have worked with the National Parks on the selection of images to celebrate the anniversary.
