About European Championship in Football
The 2008 European Football Championship will take place at Austria and Switzerland, from 7 June to 29 June 2008. A total of 16 teams will participate at the tournament. Austria and Switzerland have automatically qualified as hosts. The remaining teams have been determined through qualifying matches. Following teams will be competing for the title of European Champion: Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Portugal, Italy, France, Greece, Turkey, Czech Republic, Germany, Croatia, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Romania and Holland.
