201550 years since the opening of the Bar-Bari ferry route - First Day Cover

The “Prekookeanska plovidba” shipping company from Bar bought a used ferry “Djursland” in Denmark on 10 May 1965 which was built in 1958. The ship weighed 1,619 tons, and was 85.8 meters long and 14.1 meters wide, with maximum speed of 15 knots. The ferry was christened with the name “Sveti Stefan” and was able to embark 650 passengers and about 100 cars.The Montenegro Post is publishing a commemorative edition containing a postage stamp and a First Day envelope within the edition “Maritime Affairs”.The author of the conceptual design is Zoran Popović, a graphic designer from Podgorica.
