Mihailo Lalić (Trepča, Andrijevica, 1914 - Belgrade, 1992), writer. He completed general high school in Berane and studied at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade. He participated in the National Liberation Movement (NOB) from 1941. After the war, he held various positions. He wrote poems, travel books, chronicles, short stories and novels. He received numerous prestigious awards, among which the most prominent is the Njegoš Award (in 1964). Novels: «Svadba» (Wedding), «Zlo proljeće» (Evil Spring), «Raskid» (Separation), «Lelejska gora» (The Wailing Mountain), «Hajka» (The Pursuit), «Pramen tame» (The Lock of Darkness), «Ratna sreća» (The Luck of War), «Zatočenici» (The Advocates), «Dokle gora zazeleni» (Until the Mountain Turns Green), «Gledajući dolje na drumove» (Looking Down on the Roads) etc. The Montenegro Post is publishing a commemorative edition containing a postage stamp and a First Day envelope within the edition «100 years since the birth of Mihailo Lalić». The author of the conceptual design is Đorđije Radević, a graphic designer from Podgorica.
