Football World Cup 2010 (Official name: 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa) will be the 19th World Cup to be held between June 11, and July 11, 2010 in South Africa. The final tournament in South Africa will be the culmination of the qualification process which began in August 2007 and which included 204 out of 208 FIFA national teams. This will be the first time that the host of the tournament is an African country. Italy is defending the title won in 2006, and they accomplished participation at the final tournament on 10 October 2009. Drawing lots for the group stage of the World Cup was held on 4 December 2009 in Cape Town. Montenegro Post, on the occasion of the Football World Cup, is publishing the apposite edition of postage stamps "Sport II – Football World Cup - South Africa 2010". The edition contains one stamp and the First Day Envelope. Author of the preliminary design is Dušan Tomić from Nikšić.
