2017100th Anniversary of Kazys Bradūnas - First Day Cover

Kazys Bradūnas (1917–2009) is one of the best known Lithuanian poets of the 20th century belonging to the famous wartime generation of students, who were tossed from Lithuania, lost in partisan battles, doomed to die in the Siberian taiga. According to literary specialists, K. Bradūnas emerges as an eyewitness of fates of this generation, having remained faithful thereto all his life. K. Bradūnas released nearly two dozen collections of poetry in total.
