Caloboletus radicans, also known as the rooting bolete or whitish bolete, ectomycorrhizal fungus, included into Lithuanian Red Book. The fruit body is big and fleshy. It has a brown cap, grey pores and yellow stout stipe, and stains blue when bruised or cut. The stipe is usually swollen, with a rooting base. The pores are lemon yellow, small and round. Bitter and inedible. Appearing in summer and autumn. Caloboletus radicans grows in local parks, oak woods, deciduous forests. Gomphus clavatus, commonly known pig’s ears or violet chanterelle, is an edible species of fungus in the genus Gomphus, family Gomphaceae, included into Lithuanian Red Book. The fruit body is fan-shaped with wavy edges to its rim. The fruit body is big and fleshy. The upper surface or cap is lilac to yellow-ochre while its lower surface, the hymenium is covered in wrinkled often with folds and pits. Appearing in summer and autumn
