About Segovia Aqueduct

The magic of the Aqueduct of Segovia enclosed in a philatelic folder.

This is how homage is paid to that treasure of universal art that is the Aqueduct of Segovia, which was declared a World Heritage Site in 1985.

Continuing with an exclusive annual product dedicated to the World Heritage series, in 2016 has dedicated to the Aqueduct of Segovia, majestic granite curtain through which you can see through its arches, the old town of Segovia.

"Bye!. I'm going to dream about you in those streets of Segovia. "Antonio Machado says goodbye to Guiomar in one of his letters.

The series has been redesigned, looking for a more attractive, modern product that provides texts with cultural information. The result has been a closed folder in a larger diptych 21x29,70 cm, with central spine, which opens to a large fold out of the aqueduct.

It contains two philatelic elements protected in mounts and also a numismatist one protected in a blister.

- One Block with circular stamp 32 mm in diameter. Special fold-out format, folded sheet size 150x104.50 mm. Included in the annual Spanish stamp program.

- A Proof of artist calcográfica of the same issue, size 150x104,50 mm.

- A commemorative coin of legal course of € 2, circled, diameter 25.75 mm. Struck by the National Coin and Stamp Factory - Royal Mint.
