Visitors to the arboretum can follow marked footpaths to explore 80 hectares (nearly 200 acres) of park and woodland and admire various themed plantings, visit the greenhouses, climb the viewing tower, see the exhibits in the gallery and take advantage of facilities including

Volčji Potok Arboretum is a cultural monument and natural resource of national importance. The historical park and botanical collection comprising 2,500 different species and varieties of woody plants are looked after by a dedicated public institute, which in 2022 received an Award of Garden Excellence from the World Federation of Rose Societies.
