Jubilee Holy Year - Pilgrims of Hope
San Marino celebrates the Jubilee and its universal significance, paying homage to the Christian roots of the Republic, through the postal series dedicated to the Walk of Saint Marinus, as a Walk of Peace, a route rich in history and steeped in religious values. The itinerary actually retraces the steps of the founder of the Republic, ideally starting from Arbe (Rab), the Saint's native island, passing through some fundamental stages of the pilgrimage that touches the emblematic places of Rimini (Tiberius Bridge), San Marino (Basilica of the Saint) and continues to San Leo (Pieve) until reaching Pennabilli, the Episcopal seat of the Diocese. The postal series intends to convey a message of unity and spiritual renewal, inviting people to reflect on the importance of faith and a sense of community. The project is part of the enhancement of the Republic of San Marino as a destination for pilgrims in search of territories characterized by their sacred value and in the development of religious tourism.
