Architecture in San Marino

First edition of the series dedicated to buildings designed by "Archistars", architects of international fame, who have enriched the territory of San Marino with their extraordinary creations. The project is in collaboration with photographer Simone Maria Fiorani, the Archive of the Società Unione Mutuo Soccorso (SUMS) and the Order of Engineers and Architects of the Republic of San Marino. The leaflet shows three glimpses of the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Consolation, an imposing work by one of the fathers of Italian architecture, Giovanni Michelucci: the building helps people to find the most intimate sphere of spirituality. Thanks to a nearly centenary of existence, Michelucci has been the teacher and inspiration for at least four generations of Italian and San Marino architects, who have learned from him to place man, his size and his needs at the basis of every design itinerary.
