Within the different rooms that can be visited in the Areny-Plandolit House Museum, there is an immersive exhibition space that transports the visitor to the time when Baron Don Guillem d'Areny Plandolit lived in the house, in the Andorra of the late nineteenth century, when the family began its decline, within the walls of a summer residence that still retains the memories of a lineage that lived among luxuries and whims, away from the Andorran reality.
Thanks to the technology, which uses holograms, combined with tangible objects, the real room of the house and the music that prints a unique atmosphere to the whole space, a multisensory experience is achieved that allows the public to enjoy, in a different way, the history of the house and the life of the baron.
In this way, it is the baron himself who tells the public about his intense life, his relationship with Carlism, his activity as Sindic of the valleys of Andorra, his role as promoter of the New Reform and the passion with which he lived his two marriages.
The Casa d'Areny-Plandolit is an old manor house located in the parish of Ordino, acquired in 1972 by the Consell General de les Valls to restore it and turn it into a museum.
The museum is distributed in the different floors that make up the mansion, where you can visit the different rooms that were characteristic of the time as library, toy room, game room or the ballroom among others, where a lot of objects and furniture accumulated by the different members of the family over the centuries are preserved, where they mix styles and the different hobbies they had, such as collecting, hunting or sports.
The stamp is issued in folding format to recreate the game of audiovisual effects, when it is closed we see the background of a bookstore and in the foreground an open book and when we open it we find the stamp the projection in front of the bookstore of Don Guillem and his wife.
