This stamp issue celebrates Aotearoa New Zealand’s Olympic athletes.
We’re a proud sporting nation so it’s no surprise that every four years New Zealanders really embrace the Olympic Games. This year the New Zealand Team is heading to Paris. They’re expecting a brilliant Games in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

$2.30 For the Fern - When New Zealand’s athletes hand-sewed the silver fern to their black singlets for the 1920 Antwerp Olympic Games, they began a 100-year tradition and unknowingly became the founding members of the New Zealand Team.
