About Legendary Formula 1 Drivers - Louis Chiron
Born in 1899 in Monaco, Louis Chiron was one of the great pre-war pilots. He raced for the most prestigious brands. Originally from Monaco, he won the Principality Grand Prix in 1931. From 1926 to 1932, he scored eighteen victories with Bugatti. He is the most successful driver of this period. The Monegasque will continue his Grand Prix career until the age of 56. His track record, which includes 14 Grands Prix, makes him one of the great figures in motorsport. He died in Monaco on June 22, 1979, aged almost 80.
