The Ferrari 312 T2 allowed Scuderia Ferrari to win the constructors' world championship in 1976 and 1977. This 1976 season will be remembered above all for the formidable clash between the Briton James Hunt and the Austrian Niki Lauda piloting the Ferrari 312 T2, as well as for the tragic accident which left the latter seriously burned.
