The most important film festival in Montenegro, Herceg Novi Film Festival – Montenegro FilmFestival, has been held for more than three decades.Competitive selections of regional feature films, documentaries and student-made films are themain focus of the international programme.The intent of the festival is to promote local and international cinematography by providing aplatform for authors and films that nurture an authentic artistic sensibility, a bold approach tosocial reality, film language and production, with a focus on showcasing a cross-section ofcontemporary poetics and expressions.
