About Prominent Armenians - 100th Anniversary of Hrachya Ghaplanyan
On May 15th, 2023, one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Prominent Armenians. 100th Anniversary of Hrachya Ghaplanyan” has been put into circulation.
The postage stamp with the nominal value of 320 AMD depicts the prominent Armenian actor, director and the People’s Artist of the USSR Hrachya Ghaplanyan (1923-1988) against the background of the building of the Yerevan Dramatic Theatre which is founded by Hrach Ghaplanyan.
The bottom part of the postage stamp depicts the inscriptions “HRACHYA GHAPLANYAN” and “1923-1988” in Armenian and English languages.
