Oscar Ribas Reig (1936 – 2020) was an Andorran politician and businessman. His political figure is closely related to the reform and modernization of Andorran institutions and the separation of executive and legislative powers in 1982: with the creation of an executive body, Oscar Ribas becomes the first Cap de Govern in the country .

He is a key figure in the process of consolidating Andorra as a democratic and social state of law, which culminated in 1993 with the birth of the Andorran Constitution. His political career has been recognized both in Andorra and abroad, since he received the Medal of the group of Ex-síndicos and former general councillors, but also the Grand-Cross of the order of Isabella the Catholic and the French Légion d'honneur .

He was president of the Government of Andorra during the mandates between 1982 and 1984 and between 1990 and 1994.
