1972-2022: 50 years of ENUSA's history. A company which was born as the Empresa Nacional del Uranio and which throughout its history has stood out for its capacity for adaptation, its untiring search for continuous improvement and its solid corporate values; with a strong commitment with the environment and with people.
It has developed its activity mainly within the framework of the nuclear sector, covering different services. It manages the supply of enriched uranium to the electric companies which own the Spanish nuclear power stations; together with different technologists, it has covered the design, manufacture and supply of fuel to domestic and foreign nuclear power stations, and has developed the engineering and derived plant services; besides, it is promoting its skills in the area of dismantling of nuclear facilities and radioactive waste management.
ENUSA's environmental commitment is undoubtedly another of the distinctive aspects which mark the company's history. It carries out the management of urban solid wastes and also the restoration of mining facilities, innovating in the techniques and ways of environmental recovery and providing engineering and consulting services to companies.
