Magyar Posta is continuing to issue thematic personalised stamps in 2022. According to plans, this year, too, four types of stamps with labels will be released, and the fourth member of this year’s series entitled HUNFILEX 2022 BUDAPEST Stamp World Championship – For Youth Day will be issued on 2 April 2022. Twelve thousand two hundred and fifty copies of the stamp with a label designed by the graphic artist Imre Benedek were produced. They may be purchased at Filaposta and from Magyar Posta’sonline store while stocks last.
The National Federation of Hungarian Philatelists, under the auspices of the FIP and with the recognition of the FEPA, is organising the HUNFILEX 2022 BUDAPEST Stamp World Championship between 31 March and 3 April 2022 in the event halls of Groupama Aréna in Budapest.
On the third day of the World Championship, 2 April 2022, the organisers will host a youth programme for young people and families with young children interested in the event. There will be quizzes, puzzles, activities and many interesting events where children can learn about stamps.
Encouraging an interest in stamp collecting among young people is an important objective for both the National Federation of Hungarian Philatelists and Magyar Posta. Both organisations strive through their activities to increase the number of young people collecting stamps.
