Anyone who has visited Guernsey during the festive season will have experienced the magical atmosphere and events, which take place around the Island during November and December.
without doubt, one of the most memorable events in Guernsey's festive calendar is the Christmas lights switch on - an important job, which, for several decades, has been carried out by Santa, accompanied by his Chief Elf. Having arrived by lifeboat Santa joins the annual festive parade where he is accompanied by many colourful fairy-tale characters.
