About Historical Heritage Duke Gavro Vukovic
Duke Gavro Vuković is the first lawyer in Montenegro. He was a diplomat, the Montenegrin Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1889 to 1905, a contemporary and close associate of King Nikola. He is the writer of a Memoir, which is an important source for the history of Montenegro. Montenegro Post, within the edition Historical Heritage – Duke Gavro Vuković, publishes a commemorative stamp and the First Day Cover. The author of the design is Dorđije Radević, a graphic designer from Podgorica.
