The Pobjeda daily is the oldest daily newspaper in Montenegro. The first issue of the Pobjeda was published during the World War II on October 24, 1944 in liberated Nikšić, as a newspaper of the National Liberation Front of Montenegro and Boka.
After Nikšić, the Pobjeda was published in Cetinje until 1954, when the seat moved to Titograd.
Copies of the Pobjeda were distributed throughout the territory of the SFR Yugoslavia, from Ljubljana and Zagreb, Sarajevo and Belgrade, to Skopje ...
From its inception to the present day, the newspaper has been a living witness to what has happened, and the writings of the Pobjeda daily serve as a historical source of information on social movements for more than seven decades.
The Montenegro Post, on the initiative of the Nova Pobjeda, celebrates the jubilee – the 75th anniversary of the Pobjeda daily, by publishing a special stamp issue. The edition contains a commemorative stamp and First Day Cover. The author of the conceptual design is Ana Knežević, a graphic designer from Cetinje.
