World Championship in Flyfishing
Bosnia and Herzegovina has the honor this year to host the 35th World Championship in Fly Fishing, the manifestation which throughout its long tradition nourishes a sport spirit and establishes a stronger relationship, both among fishing lovers and among countries. 35th World Fly Fishing Championship will be organized on four rivers and a lake. Competition tracks on rivers are 6000 m in length, and starting of the competitors 180 m, to the interface of 10 m to the left and right side of the competitor. Competitors will hunt all the fish species present in rivers and lakes, and the minimum length that counts is 20 cm. The competition is organized in full compliance with the rules and propositions of the Rules FIPS / MOUCHE Federation. All types and techniques of hunting hook without counter-hooks, weight larger than allowed hidden in flies - nymphs, and caught fish are drawn by Meredov (net).
For training are certain competition tracks in the Pliva Lake and the rivers Pliva and Vrbas. Spare competition and training track at the Sana River in the place Kljuc. During the competition expected good weather conditions, temperature of 17 - 22 degrees Celsius and favorable water level of rivers.
