Simple changes in our everyday lives can help slow climate change. In order to preserve our Planet so the future generations are left with a more stable, healthier world, we all need to manage our personal carbon emissions efficiently and make continued efforts to reduce them ourselves - including reducing our energy consumption, choosing to travel sustainably and being conscious of our choices. Climate change is a global problem, therefore an emission reduction made elsewhere has the same positive effect as the one made locally. In a joint initiative of the Government of Montenegro and UNDP, the Montenegrin Post is publishing a commemorative postage stamp ‘Reduce your carbon footprint’ and a First day envelope on April 22nd -the International Earth Day thus celebrating the Paris Agreement and the world’s united action in the fight against climate change. The author of the conceptual design is Miško Jovanović, a graphic designer from Podgorica.
