Dejan Zlaticanin - World Champion at WBC

Dejan Zlatičanin, Montenegrin professional boxer, was born on 23 April 1984. He became the WBA Lightweight World Champion on the 11th of June 2016 in the United States (the town of Verona, New York State), after defeating Franklin Mamani from Bolivia, by knockout after a 54-second fight in the 3rd round. This extraordinary sport result of Dejan Zlatičanin, the popular Dynamite from Podgorica, is one of the greatest achievements in the history of Montenegrin sports. The Montenegro Post is paying a tribute to this sporting achievement by publishing a commemorative edition of postage stamps. The edition includes a stamp and a First Day envelope. The author of the conceptual design is Zoran Popović, a graphic designer from Podgorica.
