About Flora and Fauna
We are delighted to celebrate the truly diverse range of flora and fauna which the tiny island of Alderney has to offer. Within the island’s 2,000 acres lies a mixture of woodland, scrub and wetland, grassland and heathland, not to mention beautiful gardens, sandy beaches and rocky shores. Thanks to its wide ranging habitats and favourable climate, Alderney is home to a rich selection of flora and wildlife not normally found in the British Isles.
